Article Processing Charge
The journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 400,000 for manuscripts accepted for publication from the September 2026 issue onward.
The APC is invoiced only after the manuscript has received formal acceptance from the Editor-in-Chief. Payment must be completed before the article is published.
What the APC Covers
The APC supports the costs of:
- editorial and publication management;
- similarity screening;
- copyediting and layout;
- DOI registration with Crossref;
- metadata submission to indexing services;
- permanent online hosting; and
- digital preservation of published articles.
APC Discount for Reviewers
Reviewers who actively contribute to the journal's peer-review process are eligible for an APC discount as a recognition of their contribution to the journal. The discount applies to a reviewer's own manuscript if the reviewer later has a manuscript accepted for publication in Jurnal Manajemen Perhotelan. The discount is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Waiver Policy
Authors who are unable to pay the APC may request a full or partial waiver. A waiver request should be submitted to [email protected] at the time of manuscript submission and should briefly explain the reason for the request. Waiver requests are handled separately from the peer-review process. Information about a waiver request is not disclosed to reviewers or the handling editor and therefore does not affect the editorial decision.
Refund Policy
If the journal withdraws an article after payment for reasons attributable to the journal, the APC will be refunded in full. If an author withdraws an accepted manuscript after payment, the APC is non-refundable.
Third-Party Services
The journal uses Turnitin for similarity screening and Crossref for DOI registration. The journal does not use third-party manuscript brokers, author-finding services, or publication agencies. No third party is authorised to collect APC payments on behalf of the journal.
Payment
Payment instructions are provided with the official acceptance letter. APC payments must be made only to the official university account specified in the acceptance letter. The journal will never request payment through a personal bank account, individual account, or unauthorised intermediary.
