ANALISIS KEUNGGULAN BERSAING MELALUI PENERAPAN KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT DAN KNOWLEDGE-BASED STRATEGY DI SURABAYA PLAZA HOTEL

Abstract


Synergy that exists among available knowledge, capabilities, and resources and is aligned with business strategy has produced competitive advantage. That is why Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) has better performance compared to its competitors. Referring to Knowledge Management Pyramid that was developed by Rosenberg, SPH is now in the level two (Information, Creation, Sharing, and Management). SPH should create Knowledge Management Manager position and increase all existing capabilities and resources to enter into a higher level (level three in Rosenberg concept), that is Enterprise Intelligence.


Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia :

Perpaduan antara knowledge yang dimiliki, kapabilitas dan resources yang ada, digabungkan dengan strategi bisnis yang dimiliki telah menghasilkan competitive advantage yang menjadikan Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) memiliki performance lebih bagus dibandingkan kompetitornya. Sesuai dengan Knowledge Management Pyramid yang dikembangkan oleh Rosenberg, SPH berada pada level dua yaitu Information, Creation, Sharing, and Management. SPH perlu mengadakan satu jabatan baru yaitu Knowledge Management Manager dan meningkatkan semua kapabilitas dan resources yang ada untuk memasuki tingkat yang tinggi lagi (level tiga dalam konsep Rosenberg) yaitu Entreprise Intelligence.
